The Arc Panning Bridge (APB) is the only panning bridge that allows you to quickly increase your field of view, in a single motion, as it automatically adjusts for interpupillary distance across every field of view in a unique arc motion.

Designed for two PVS-14 style monoculars, you can quickly pan between the standard 40° FOV to a widened 60° FOV, in less than a second.

Featuring a metal dovetail, it is the most lightweight tool-less panning bridge, weighing 2oz with captive thumb screws. The APB is completely tool-less, as such monoculars can be easily attached or detached in the field.

You can easily articulate either PVS-14 up and out of the way. Each monocular may be folded flat against the helmet when stowed, lending to a low profile.

There are two thumb screws at the front of the bridge that can be used to set the arc angle adjustment/arc limiter. This allows you to set the maximum FOV the bridge can pan to (5 settings up to 60° FOV). These thumb screws can also be used to lock the pan angle and set the tightness of the panning action. Adjusting this is not required to use the bridge, all you need to do is pull to pan.

Arc Limiter settings
40° 45° 50° 55° 60°

There are two lanyard tether holes at the back of the bridge, for retaining the bridge with shock cord.

Other panning systems currently on the market, require multiple adjustments to get a useable wider field of view. The user must adjust both the interpupillary distance (IPD), pan the goggles outwards, and likely adjust the tilt or vertical height of the mount. If the IPD is not adjusted at the same time as panning, the eyepieces will not line up with the user's eyes, and they may either knock into each other or even hit the user's face. This is not an issue on the Arc Panning Bridge, as the eyepieces pan along an arc.

Nick Chen Review: thefirearmblog.com

“In concept, Diverging Image Tube NVGs (DIT-NVGs) are relatively simple: increase user FOV by pointing the optical pods/ image intensifier tubes off to the side, rather than straight forward.”
